Current analytics and newsletter choices — 9 October 2026
This notice clarifies the tools currently supported by UNOVAS. Optional Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, measures public-page acquisition and limited confirmed conversion outcomes only after you accept analytics. Google tracking requests are blocked before consent. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics does not prevent use of UNOVAS.
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Your versioned choice is stored for 180 days. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, Google Signals, user-ID tracking, remarketing, and session recordings are not enabled. Learning activity, messages, assessments, staff activity, names, contact details, form contents, and authentication tokens are not sent to analytics. Campaign labels are restricted and URLs and referrers are sanitized.
Where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile verifies newsletter and demo requests for abuse prevention. It receives technical browser/network information needed for the security check; it is not used as advertising analytics. Newsletter signup is an explicit choice separate from registration and demo access. The subscription stores your email, status, signup time, and the consent notice version and source. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses are suppressed before campaign delivery; minimal suppression records prevent further mail.
Analytics retention must be configured to two months for event-level data, and analytics cookies to a maximum of 180 days, before analytics is enabled. Aggregate provider reports can have different retention. Existing account, payment, security, and younger-learner safeguards still apply. The business owner can answer access, deletion, and privacy requests using the contact details below.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files and similar technologies stored on or accessed from your device when you visit a website or use an online service. They help websites remember information, operate securely, understand usage and, where permitted, measure the effectiveness of communications and advertising.
In this Cookie Policy, cookies include similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local browser storage.
2. UNOVAS as Platform Provider
UNOVAS is a technology-enabled education platform operated by Visra Digital Solutions Co. in the United Arab Emirates and Visra Universe Private Limited in Sri Lanka. UNOVAS is not generally an educational institution, academy or training provider unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service.
UNOVAS provides technology, marketplace, discovery, registration, communication, payment-facilitation and related platform services. The entity responsible for a particular processing activity may depend on your location, transaction, service, course provider and applicable law.
Independent educators, academies and institutions may separately process learner information under their own responsibilities and privacy practices when they provide educational services through the platform.
3. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential Cookies — Required for authentication, account sessions, security, fraud prevention, payment facilitation and core platform functionality.
Preference Cookies — Remember settings such as language, region or appearance preferences.
Analytics Cookies — Help us understand traffic, errors, performance and general usage. These may include Google Analytics 4 and similar analytics services.
Marketing / Advertising Cookies — Where permitted, help measure campaigns and advertising effectiveness. These may include Meta technologies and similar social-media or advertising services.
Third-Party Cookies — Payment, video, analytics, support, communications, security and social-media services may place their own technologies when you use the relevant service or feature.
4. Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookie, device or online identifiers may constitute personal data. UNOVAS may collect information such as browser and device information, operating system, language preferences, approximate technical location, pages visited, features used, access time, referral source, session information, identifiers and diagnostic information.
Information about how UNOVAS collects, uses, shares, protects and transfers personal data is set out in the UNOVAS Privacy Policy.
Where required by applicable law, UNOVAS will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent before using non-essential technologies.
5. Your Choices
You may control cookies through browser settings and, where available, the UNOVAS cookie-choice interface. Blocking essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
Where a choice is required for analytics, marketing, social-media or other non-essential technologies, UNOVAS will provide an option to accept, reject or manage the relevant categories. You may change your choice later through the available Cookie settings option.
Declining non-essential technologies will not prevent you from using the core UNOVAS platform, although an optional feature may not be available.
6. Third-Party Providers
UNOVAS may use third-party providers including Google Analytics 4, Meta technologies, payment providers, video services, customer-support services, communications providers, analytics providers and security providers. Their own privacy and cookie policies may apply.
Providers and technologies may change as the platform evolves. UNOVAS may update this Cookie Policy and the available cookie-choice information to reflect material changes.
Where UNOVAS links to a third-party website or service, that third party’s practices are governed by its own policies. Social-media links on UNOVAS pages do not make UNOVAS responsible for technologies used after you visit the third-party service.
7. Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer privacy or “Do Not Track” settings. Because implementations vary, UNOVAS may not respond to every signal unless required by applicable law.
8. Retention
Cookies may remain for a browser session or for a longer period depending on their purpose, your choices and the provider. You may remove or block cookies through browser settings, although this may affect how the platform works.
9. Children and Young Learners
Where UNOVAS services are intended for minors, appropriate parental or guardian requirements may apply. UNOVAS does not knowingly collect children’s information where prohibited by applicable law.
Where required by applicable law, UNOVAS will obtain the appropriate consent before using non-essential technologies in connection with a young learner.
10. Changes
UNOVAS may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, services, providers, legal requirements or practices change. Where a change is material, UNOVAS may provide an appropriate notice and, where required, ask you to make a new choice before using the changed non-essential technology.
11. Legal Context
UNOVAS intends to operate cookie and tracking practices consistently with applicable privacy and electronic-communications requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates or offers services, including Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
