UNOVAS as a Platform Provider
UNOVAS provides technology and marketplace services connecting learners with independent educators, academies and institutions. While we strive to maintain a trusted platform, the quality, accreditation, qualifications, provider information, performance and educational or employment outcomes of individual courses remain the responsibility of the respective provider, unless expressly stated otherwise by UNOVAS.
UNOVAS is a brand and technology-enabled education platform operated by Visra Digital Solutions Co., B04, 1072 Offices, B Block, Al Muteena, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Visra Universe Private Limited, 723/A, Malabe Road, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka.
This clarification forms part of the applicable UNOVAS document.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the UNOVAS website, platform, applications and related services. By creating an account, browsing the platform, enrolling in a course or otherwise using UNOVAS, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the UNOVAS services.
2. UNOVAS Legal Entities and Brand
UNOVAS is a brand and technology-enabled education platform operated by Visra Digital Solutions Co. in the United Arab Emirates and Visra Universe Private Limited in Sri Lanka. The applicable operating entity may depend on your location, transaction, service, course provider and applicable law.
3. UNOVAS as a Platform Provider
UNOVAS is primarily a technology platform and marketplace provider. UNOVAS is not itself an educational institution, university, college, academy, training institute or awarding body, unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service.
UNOVAS may provide technology and marketplace functions including course discovery, search, registration and application facilitation, payment facilitation, communications, learning-platform functionality, reviews, account management and related services. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the actual educational service is provided by an independent educator, academy, training provider or institution listed on or connected through the platform. Enrollment through UNOVAS does not by itself mean that UNOVAS is the educational institution providing the course.
4. Responsibilities of Education Providers
The relevant educator, academy, training provider or institution is generally responsible for its curriculum, teaching, instructors, admission decisions, eligibility decisions, attendance, assessments, academic quality, course delivery, accreditation or recognition claims, and course-specific certificates. UNOVAS may facilitate access to information and services but does not guarantee that every third-party provider, course, qualification, certificate or outcome will meet a learner's expectations.
5. Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Do not share credentials, impersonate others, create fraudulent accounts or access another user’s account. Courses for minors may require parental or guardian involvement.
6. Courses and Outcomes
Course descriptions, schedules, eligibility, prices, instructors and delivery methods may change. UNOVAS does not guarantee a particular academic, employment, professional or financial outcome. Admission decisions may be made by the relevant education provider.
7. Payments
Prices and applicable taxes or fees will be shown where reasonably applicable. Payments may be processed by third-party providers. By completing a purchase, you authorize processing of the transaction. Where UNOVAS facilitates a transaction on behalf of an education provider, the relationship concerning the educational service may also involve that provider.
8. Intellectual Property
UNOVAS branding, software, design and platform materials are protected by law. Course materials belong to UNOVAS, educators, academies or other rights holders. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership. You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, publicly display, record or commercially exploit protected content without authorization.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use UNOVAS unlawfully or fraudulently; bypass security; upload malware; scrape or systematically copy content without permission; harass or impersonate others; infringe rights; misrepresent qualifications; or resell unauthorized access.
10. User Content
Users remain responsible for reviews, comments, questions and other submissions. You grant UNOVAS the rights reasonably necessary to host and display such content for operating and promoting the platform, subject to applicable law.
11. Communications
UNOVAS may send account, enrollment, payment, security, course and service communications. Marketing communications will be handled according to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
12. Third-Party Services
UNOVAS may use payment, analytics, video, communications, support, security and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
13. Suspension and Termination
UNOVAS may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, payment issues, security or material breach of these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided on an ‘as available’ basis. UNOVAS does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation or the accuracy of every third-party course, provider statement or educational outcome.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UNOVAS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify UNOVAS and its affiliates, officers, employees and service providers for claims arising from unlawful use, breach of these Terms, infringement or misuse of your account.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to the relevant UNOVAS operating entity and transaction, while preserving mandatory consumer rights. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes.
18. Changes
UNOVAS may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the website or account notifications. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
